No visa required. Finnish ordinary passport holders can enter Paraguay visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. Finland is on Paraguay's visa-exemption list (bilateral exemption in force since 28 October 1992, reinforced by Finland's EU membership). An ordinary Finnish passport holder may enter Paraguay for tourism or short visits without a visa and stay up to 90 days, which can be extended once for a further 90 days at the Dirección General de Migraciones in Asunción. Paraguay is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this trip. No reciprocity/entry fee is charged to Finnish citizens (such fees apply to nationals like Canadians and Australians, not Finns). On arrival you simply present a passport valid for at least six months with proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds, and receive an entry stamp. Always confirm with the Paraguayan consulate or Migraciones before departure, as policies can change.
