No visa required. Finland (EU) passport holders can enter Moldova visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Finland is an EU member state, and Moldova has waived the visa requirement for all EU citizens since 1 January 2007. A Finnish ordinary passport holder may enter Moldova for tourism or a short visit without any visa, staying up to 90 days within a 6-month (180-day) window counted from the date of first entry. The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of departure from Moldova. No advance application, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is needed for stays within this limit. Important: Moldova is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entering Moldova; time spent in Moldova is entirely separate from any Schengen allowance. (ETIAS is a Schengen pre-travel authorisation and is irrelevant for travel into Moldova; it would only affect Moldovan nationals entering the EU.) For stays beyond 90 days, Finnish travellers must apply for a residence/immigration permit through Moldova's Bureau for Migration and Asylum.
