Finnish passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Fiji for tourism. Finland is on Fiji's visa-exempt list, so travelers receive a free Visitor Permit on arrival for stays of up to 4 months. Finland is a visa-exempt country for Fiji. As a Finnish ordinary passport holder, you can travel to Fiji for tourism without obtaining a visa in advance. On arrival, immigration grants a Visitor Permit that can be valid for up to 4 months (the exact period is at the officer's discretion based on your circumstances). There is no application fee or eVisa requirement for the initial entry. You must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months, a confirmed onward/return ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and details of your accommodation. The permit can be extended once, for a maximum of 2 additional months, for a fee of FJD 93.00, applied for before the original permit expires. Fiji is not in the Schengen area, so the EU 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. Always reconfirm requirements shortly before travel, as airlines may also check return tickets and passport validity at boarding.
