Do Finland passport holders need a visa to visit BZ?
No visa required. Finnish citizens can enter Belize visa-free for tourism for up to 30 days. Finland (FI) ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for short tourist visits to Belize. As EU citizens, Finns are on Belize's visa-exempt list and receive a visitor's permit (tourist stamp) on arrival valid for up to 30 days. This is confirmed by the Belize Immigration Department and the official Belize tourism board. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 30 days beyond arrival, a return or onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds (commonly cited at around US$75 per day). Stays beyond 30 days require a Visitor's Permit Extension obtained from a local immigration office at BZ$200 per month. A departure tax/fee applies on exit (around US$73.50 by air, BZ$40 by land). Belize is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route.
