🇪🇸西班牙(Spain)🇮🇪爱尔兰(Ireland)ES-IE 西班牙(Spain) 前往 爱尔兰(Ireland) 签证要求
No visa. Spanish nationals are EU citizens and can travel to Ireland visa-free for tourism using a valid passport or national ID card. Ireland is not in Schengen, so ETIAS and the 90/180-day Schengen rule do not apply; EU free-movement rights mean no fixed time limit on a short visit. Spain and Ireland are both European Union member states, so a Spanish ordinary passport holder enjoys full EU free-movement rights when visiting Ireland. No visa is required for tourism or any short stay. A valid Spanish passport or national identity card (DNI) is sufficient for entry; a visa, ETIAS, or any prior travel authorisation is not needed. Although Ireland is in the EU, it has opted out of the Schengen Area and runs its own border controls, so identity documents are checked on arrival even though no Schengen rules apply. Because ETIAS covers only Schengen countries, it will never apply to Ireland regardless of its 2026 rollout elsewhere in Europe. The Schengen 90-in-180-day short-stay rule likewise does not govern Ireland; instead, EU free-movement law lets a Spanish citizen stay up to three months freely as a visitor, with only a simple registration/residence formality required for stays beyond three months. There are no entry fees. Travellers should simply carry a passport or national ID that is valid for the duration of the trip.
