🇪🇸西班牙(Spain)🇪🇷厄立特里亚(Eritrea)ES-ER 西班牙(Spain) 前往 厄立特里亚(Eritrea) 签证要求
Spanish ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Eritrea. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa channel for Spain. You must obtain a paper/embassy visa from an Eritrean diplomatic mission before you travel. Eritrea requires Spanish ordinary passport holders to obtain a visa in advance from an Eritrean diplomatic mission (embassy or consulate) before travel. Eritrea has one of the most restrictive visa policies in the world: only Kenya and Uganda nationals are visa-exempt, and only Ethiopia and Sudan nationals receive visa-on-arrival. Spain has no bilateral exemption, no visa-on-arrival eligibility, and no general eVisa scheme, so a Spanish tourist must apply for a traditional embassy/consular visa. The application requires a completed form (B62.3), passport photo, a passport valid at least six months beyond the trip, proof of sufficient funds, and (for non-residents of the embassy's jurisdiction) proof of residency. Processing takes a minimum of 15 business days and can be longer. The visa is generally valid for three months from the date of issue, within which the holder must arrive in Eritrea; once admitted, the permitted stay is typically up to one month, extendable at the Immigration office in Asmara. Eritrea is not in the Schengen area, so the 90/180 Schengen short-stay rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. Travelers should also be aware of restrictive in-country movement: many areas outside Asmara require a separate internal travel permit, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required if arriving from or transiting an endemic country. Because Eritrea has limited diplomatic missions, Spanish applicants are usually served by the Eritrean Embassy covering their region in Europe; confirm the competent mission and current requirements directly before applying.
