🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)🇹🇳突尼斯(Tunisia)EG-TN 埃及(Egypt) 前往 突尼斯(Tunisia) 签证要求
Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit Tunisia for tourism. A regular individual tourist must apply in advance at the Tunisian Embassy in Cairo before travel. A 2025 visa-on-arrival measure exists but only covers specific groups (professionals, Schengen/US visa or residence-permit holders, and organized tour groups of 10+), not ordinary independent tourists. Tunisia is in North Africa, not the Schengen area, so ETIAS and the 90/180 rule do not apply. As of mid-2026, Egypt is not on Tunisia's visa-exempt list for ordinary passports. An ordinary Egyptian tourist must obtain a sticker visa in advance from the Tunisian Embassy/Consulate in Cairo before departure. In September 2025 Tunisia introduced a visa-on-arrival facility to ease entry for Egyptians, but it is restricted to defined categories: business leaders, doctors, researchers, senior executives and state officials, Egyptians holding valid Schengen or US visas or residence permits, and organized tourist groups of more than ten people traveling through accredited Tunisian agencies with an agency representative meeting them at the airport. Individual leisure travelers who do not fit these categories cannot use visa-on-arrival and still need the embassy visa. A planned electronic visa platform was expected by end of 2025, but the tender was declared unsuccessful in August 2025, so no operational eVisa exists for Egyptians. The standard visa permits a short stay of up to 90 days. Note: only Egyptian diplomatic and official/service passport holders are visa-exempt (up to 90 days) - this does not apply to ordinary passports. Because sources confirm no general no-visa channel for ordinary tourists, the conservative and correct verdict is visa-required.
