🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)🇹🇱东帝汶(Timor-Leste)EG-TL 埃及(Egypt) 前往 东帝汶(Timor-Leste) 签证要求
Egyptian ordinary passport holders can get a visa on arrival (VOA) when entering Timor-Leste by air at Dili airport or by sea at Dili port. It costs USD 30, is valid for a 30-day stay, single entry, and is extendable once in-country. Timor-Leste (Asia, not in the Schengen area) is not on Egypt's visa-exemption list, so Egyptian ordinary passport holders are not visa-free. However, Timor-Leste grants a visa on arrival to citizens of all non-exempt countries, including Egypt, when arriving at Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport in Dili or the Dili sea port. The VOA is a single-entry tourist visa costing USD 30, valid for a stay of up to 30 days, extendable once in-country for an additional 30 days for a USD 40 extension fee. Requirements are a passport valid at least 6 months beyond arrival with at least one (officially two recommended) blank page, a completed arrival card, a return or onward ticket, evidence of accommodation, and proof of sufficient funds (commonly cited as around USD 150 per day). IMPORTANT: the VOA is only issued at Dili air and sea ports. Travelers entering by land from Indonesian West Timor must obtain a Visa Application Authorization in advance from the Timor-Leste consulate in Kupang, Indonesia. Egyptian travelers should also note Timor-Leste does not currently operate a general eVisa; the practical options are VOA on arrival by air/sea or a pre-arrival visa through a Timor-Leste diplomatic mission. Figures verified against the Immigration Service of Timor-Leste, the Timor-Leste Customs Authority, and the U.S. State Department as of mid-2026.
