🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)🇸🇰斯洛伐克(Slovakia)EG-SK 埃及(Egypt) 前往 斯洛伐克(Slovakia) 签证要求
Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa to visit Slovakia for tourism. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa option. Slovakia is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Egypt is on the list of nationalities that require a visa to enter Schengen. An Egyptian ordinary passport holder must therefore obtain a Schengen Type C (short-stay) visa before traveling to Slovakia for tourism. Applications are lodged in Egypt through the authorized visa application centre (VFS Global / BLS in Cairo and Alexandria) on behalf of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Cairo, and an appointment is required. The visa permits a stay of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. The standard adult visa fee is EUR 90 (payable in EGP at the consular exchange rate), plus a separate VFS service fee. Travelers must show a confirmed itinerary, accommodation, round-trip transport, travel medical insurance covering at least EUR 30,000, and sufficient funds. ETIAS does NOT apply to Egyptian nationals: ETIAS is only for visa-exempt nationalities and, in any case, is not expected to go live until late 2026 with a transition period after. Slovakia must be the main destination (longest stay) for the application to be filed at the Slovak mission; otherwise the applicant files at the country of longest stay. Be conservative and apply well in advance, as processing can extend during peak periods.
