🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)🇳🇱荷兰(Netherlands)EG-NL 埃及(Egypt) 前往 荷兰(Netherlands) 签证要求
Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa to visit the Netherlands for tourism. Egypt is a visa-required nationality and is NOT eligible for ETIAS. The Netherlands is part of the Schengen Area, and Egypt is on the EU's list of nationalities that require a visa for short stays. An Egyptian ordinary passport holder must therefore obtain a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa before traveling for tourism. Applications are submitted through the VFS Global application centre in Cairo on behalf of the Dutch consulate. The visa permits a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. Applicants must appear in person to give biometrics (fingerprints and photo), provide proof of accommodation, sufficient funds, travel medical insurance (minimum EUR 30,000 coverage), a return travel itinerary, and a completed application form. The standard short-stay visa fee is EUR 80, rising to EUR 90 effective 11 June 2026; VFS service charges apply on top. ETIAS (the EU travel authorization expected to launch in Q4 2026) does NOT apply to Egyptian nationals because it is only for visa-exempt countries; Egyptians continue to need a full Schengen visa. The new Entry/Exit System (EES) began rolling out at Schengen external borders in April 2026 and records biometric entry/exit data at the border.
