🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)🇰🇪肯尼亚(Kenya)EG-KE 埃及(Egypt) 前往 肯尼亚(Kenya) 签证要求
Egyptian ordinary passport holders can travel to Kenya visa-free. Since Legal Notice No. 93 of 30 May 2025, Egypt is on Kenya's eTA-exemption list, so no visa and no Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) are required for tourist stays of up to 60 days. As of 30 May 2025, Kenya amended its Citizenship and Immigration Regulations (Legal Notice No. 93) to exempt nationals of most African countries from both the visa and the Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) requirement. Egypt is listed in the group exempt for stays not exceeding 60 days. This means Egyptian ordinary passport holders do not need to apply for an eTA, pay the USD 32.50 eTA fee, or obtain a visa before traveling for tourism or short visits; they are admitted on presentation of a valid passport at the port of entry. Only Libya and Somalia among African states remain subject to the eTA. Travelers should still carry proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds, and ensure their passport is valid for at least six months with a blank page. For stays beyond 60 days, a different permit or pass is required and must be arranged with the Directorate of Immigration Services. Although the practical outcome is visa-free entry, note this is a relatively recent change (mid-2025), so travelers should re-confirm the current exemption list shortly before departure, as airline check-in staff and the IATA Travel Centre are the most reliable last-minute references.
