🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)🇯🇲牙买加(Jamaica)EG-JM 埃及(Egypt) 前往 牙买加(Jamaica) 签证要求
Yes, an Egyptian ordinary passport holder needs a visa to visit Jamaica. Egypt is on Jamaica's visa-required list, so you must obtain a visitor (tourist) visa from a Jamaican diplomatic mission before you travel. Egypt is not among the countries that Jamaica exempts from visa requirements, nor is it eligible for visa-on-arrival or an eVisa channel. Jamaica's Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) lists Egypt as "visa required," confirmed by the Visa policy of Jamaica reference. Egyptian ordinary passport holders must therefore apply for a Jamaican visitor visa in advance through a Jamaican embassy, high commission or consulate (Egyptians are typically served by the Jamaican mission accredited to the region, such as the High Commission in London or the Embassy/Consulate handling their territory). The visa for visitors is normally issued as a single-entry or multiple-entry sticker valid for up to three months from issue, during which the holder must arrive; the actual permitted stay is determined by the immigration officer at the port of entry, commonly up to 30-90 days for tourism. Required documentation includes a passport valid at least six months beyond the intended stay, a completed application form, a recent passport photo, confirmed return/onward tickets, proof of accommodation, and evidence of sufficient funds. Jamaica is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Travelers should apply well in advance, as embassy processing can take from about 7 up to 20 business days. Note that arriving without a required visa can result in a much higher port-of-entry fee (around US$350) or refusal of entry, so securing the visa beforehand is essential.
