🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)🇩🇰丹麦(Denmark)EG-DK 埃及(Egypt) 前往 丹麦(Denmark) 签证要求
Yes. Egyptian ordinary passport holders must obtain a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa before traveling to Denmark for tourism. Egypt is a visa-required (Annex I) third country, and ETIAS will not apply to Egyptian nationals when it launches. Denmark is a member of the Schengen Area, and Egypt is on the EU list of countries whose nationals require a visa for short stays. An Egyptian ordinary passport holder must apply for a Schengen Type C (short-stay) visa at the Danish mission's authorized visa centre in Egypt (VFS Global in Cairo and Alexandria) before traveling. The visa permits stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. Applicants must appear in person to give biometrics, hold travel medical insurance with at least EUR 30,000 coverage, and demonstrate sufficient funds, accommodation, and intent to return. Egypt is classified by Danish authorities in 'Main Group 3' (higher migration-risk group), so strong proof of ties to Egypt and, for visits, a qualifying relationship with the host strengthens the application. The standard adult visa fee is EUR 80, rising to EUR 90 for applications lodged on or after 11 June 2026. The new ETIAS travel authorization does not replace this requirement: ETIAS applies only to visa-exempt nationalities, which does not include Egypt, so Egyptians will continue to need a full Schengen visa.
