🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)🇧🇪比利时(Belgium)EG-BE 埃及(Egypt) 前往 比利时(Belgium) 签证要求
Egyptian ordinary passport holders need a Schengen short-stay visa (Type C) before traveling to Belgium for tourism. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa option. ETIAS does NOT apply to Egyptians because they already require a full Schengen visa. Belgium is a member of the Schengen Area, and Egypt is not on the EU's visa-exempt list. Therefore, an Egyptian citizen holding an ordinary passport must obtain a Schengen short-stay (Category C) visa before traveling to Belgium for tourism or any short visit of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Applications in Egypt are processed through TLScontact, the official outsourcing partner, at its visa center in 6th of October City (Sheikh Zayed). Applicants must register on Visa-on-Web, book an appointment, prepay fees, attend in person to submit documents and provide biometrics (fingerprints and a photo, exempt for children under six). The standard adult visa fee is EUR 90, plus a TLScontact service fee, and standard processing takes around 15 working days (applications can be lodged up to 6 months before travel and should be filed at least 15 working days ahead). The visa permits a maximum stay of 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. Importantly, ETIAS (the EU travel authorization launching in late 2026) does NOT apply to Egyptian nationals, since ETIAS is only for visa-exempt travelers; Egyptians continue to need the traditional Schengen visa. If sources conflict, travelers should always rely on the official Belgian FPS Foreign Affairs / TLScontact guidance.
