🇩🇪德国(Germany)🇧🇮布隆迪(Burundi)DE-BI 德国(Germany) 前往 布隆迪(Burundi) 签证要求
German ordinary-passport holders need a visa for Burundi. It is issued as a visa on arrival at Bujumbura (Melchior Ndadaye) International Airport. A single-entry tourist visa costs USD 90 for a 1-month stay. You can pre-fill the application and pay by card on the official migration portal beforehand, but the visa itself is issued at arrival. Burundi is not part of any visa-waiver arrangement with Germany, so a German tourist needs a visa. The German Federal Foreign Office (Auswartiges Amt) states that the visa is issued exclusively as a visa on arrival at Bujumbura International Airport. Travelers may either pre-complete the application and pay by credit card on Burundi's official migration website (migration.gov.bi) or simply pay the fee in cash (USD) on arrival. The migration portal lists a single-entry visa at USD 90 (1 month, single entry), a multiple-entry visa at USD 90 (1 month, renewable), and a transit visa at USD 40 (3 days). Note: the Foreign Office warns that the online form often sends an automated rejection email due to a technical glitch, which does NOT affect actual entry or visa issuance at the airport, so the visa-on-arrival channel is the reliable route. Passports must be valid for at least six months with two blank pages, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required. There is no Schengen relevance (Burundi is in East Africa). As of 2026-05-30 there is no true issued-on-portal eVisa; the online system functions as advance application and payment ahead of an on-arrival visa.
