🇨🇳中国(China)🇿🇲赞比亚(Zambia)CN-ZM 中国(China) 前往 赞比亚(Zambia) 签证要求
Chinese ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Zambia. China is on Zambia's visa-exemption list, allowing visa-free entry for tourism for up to 30 days, extendable up to a maximum of 90 days within a 12-month period. Zambia waived visa requirements for Chinese ordinary passport holders under a visa-exemption policy that took effect on 19 October 2022 (Statutory Instrument No. 69 of 2022) and was further expanded from 1 January 2025. The official Zambia Department of Immigration lists China (entry 34) among nationals who do not require a visa to enter the country. A Chinese tourist arriving with a valid passport receives a free entry stamp at the port of entry permitting a stay of up to 30 days. This can be extended within Zambia twice, each time by 30 days, for a maximum cumulative stay of 90 days in a 12-month period. The waiver is for tourism and short business visits only — it does not authorize employment, which requires a separate permit. Note that the recent (in force 26 February 2026) mutual visa-exemption treaty between China and Zambia covers ONLY diplomatic, service and public-affairs passports; ordinary tourist passport holders rely on Zambia's unilateral visa-waiver policy, which already grants them visa-free entry. Standard conditions apply: passport valid at least 6 months with blank pages, a return/onward air ticket when arriving by air, and proof of sufficient funds. Final admission is always at the discretion of the immigration officer at the port of entry.
