A Chinese (CN) ordinary passport holder traveling to the Kingdom of eSwatini (SZ) for tourism requires a visa. Mainland China does not appear on eSwatini's list of visa-exempt jurisdictions (unlike Taiwan/ROC, which gets 90 days visa-free), and eSwatini does not grant visa-on-arrival to nationalities that need a visa. Tourist visitors are generally permitted up to 30 days, extendable by a further 30 days at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Mbabane; stays beyond 60 days require a Temporary Residence Permit. A passport valid at least 6 months with at least two blank pages is required. Because eSwatini's published fee schedule for the eVisa is not consistently disclosed online and embassy/agent quotes vary (commonly around USD 35-60 for a single-entry tourist visa), travelers should confirm the exact current fee and processing time on the official portal before applying and allow 2-4 weeks ahead of travel.
