A notable advantage for Chinese citizens: under Pakistan's published visa fee schedule, nationals of China are exempt from the visa application fee (except for work visas), so the tourist eVisa is effectively free of government charges. Applicants still complete the full online application and must be approved before departure. Note that the Visa Prior to Arrival (VPA) free multiple-entry scheme that covered 126 countries was withdrawn from the POVS portal at the start of 2026, so travelers should rely on the standard eVisa channel. Processing usually takes about 7 to 20 business days, so applying well ahead of travel is advised. The verdict is conservative: a confirmed eVisa channel exists, but no visa-free or visa-on-arrival tourist entry is available to ordinary Chinese passport holders.
