Applicants apply on evisa.mn, upload a passport bio-page scan and photo, and pay online; government fees vary by nationality and typically fall in the roughly USD 5.50-51.50 range for tourist visas, with a single-entry tourist visa commonly around USD 50-53. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from arrival. Travelers staying more than 30 days must register with Mongolia's Immigration Agency within 7 days of arrival. Because Mongolia's visa-waiver programs have end dates and policy has been in flux for 2026, the conservative and reliable channel for a Chinese ordinary passport is the eVisa.
