Chinese ordinary passport holders can obtain a free single-entry visa on arrival in Lebanon for tourism, valid for a one-month stay (extendable up to 3 months total) at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport and other official ports of entry. No advance visa is required. As of May 2026, the People's Republic of China is on Lebanon's General Security visa-on-arrival eligibility list. Chinese tourists receive a free single-entry visa on arrival, granted for a maximum stay of one month and extendable for two additional months (three months total) through the Directorate of General Security. To qualify, travelers must present a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay (some sources cite three months) with two blank pages, a local Lebanese address and phone number (typically the hotel), and a non-refundable return or onward ticket. A critical, strictly enforced restriction: any Israeli visa, entry, or exit stamp in the passport, or evidence of having visited Israel, results in denial of entry and possible detention. The visa on arrival is the standard and recommended channel; no eVisa or pre-application is needed for short tourist visits, though Chinese nationals must register their address with General Security after arrival.
