🇨🇳中国(China)🇬🇷希腊(Greece)CN-GR 中国(China) 前往 希腊(Greece) 签证要求
Chinese ordinary passport holders need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa before traveling to Greece. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa option. Apply in advance through Greece's authorized visa application centre (GVC World) or the Greek consulate in China. Greece is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Chinese ordinary passport holders are not on the EU/Schengen visa-exemption list. To visit Greece for tourism, a Chinese citizen must obtain a Type C short-stay Schengen visa in advance, which permits stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. Applications are lodged in person (biometrics required) through Greece's external service provider, Global Visa Center World (GVC World), or directly at a Greek consulate. As of 2026, Greek visa application centres operate in Beijing, Shenyang, Jinan, Chongqing, Chengdu and Xi'an. The visa fee is EUR 90 (raised from EUR 80 in June 2024) plus a service fee of roughly EUR 30. Mandatory documents include a completed application form, valid passport, biometric photos, travel medical insurance covering at least EUR 30,000, flight and hotel reservations, and proof of financial means. Standard processing is about 15 calendar/working days but can extend to 30-60 days in peak season. Applications may be submitted up to 6 months before, and no later than 15 working days before, the intended trip. There has been no visa-free or visa-on-arrival agreement between China and the Schengen Area as of May 2026, so a visa is mandatory.
