Chinese ordinary passport holders can visit Fiji visa-free for tourism. No visa is required on arrival. Holders of a Chinese ordinary passport do NOT need a visa to visit Fiji for tourism or short visits. Fiji's Ministry of Immigration lists China among its visa-exempted countries, and China and Fiji maintain a bilateral mutual visa-exemption agreement (in force since 14 March 2015) covering ordinary, diplomatic, service and public-affairs passports. Under Fiji's general visa-exemption rules, visa-exempt nationals are granted a visitor permit on arrival valid for up to 4 months, extendable by up to 2 more months for a maximum total stay of 6 months. The bilateral agreement text references a 30-day threshold above which local residence formalities apply, but in practice arriving tourists receive the standard 4-month visitor permit at the border. No visa fee applies; travelers simply present a valid passport, proof of onward/return travel, accommodation details and sufficient funds at immigration. Passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended departure date with at least one blank page. This route is straightforward: arrive, receive a free entry stamp, and visit.
