🇨🇳中国(China)🇧🇳文莱(Brunei)CN-BN 中国(China) 前往 文莱(Brunei) 签证要求
Chinese ordinary passport holders can enter Brunei visa-free for tourism for up to 14 days, effective 8 March 2025 under a mutual visa-exemption arrangement. No advance visa or eVisa is needed; just a passport valid 6+ months and onward/return travel proof. As of 8 March 2025, Brunei grants visa-free entry to holders of ordinary People's Republic of China passports for stays of up to 14 days, under the "Passport (Visa) (Exemption) (Amendment) Order, 2025." This places China in Brunei's "Category D" (visa-not-required) nationalities. The exemption covers tourism and short business/social visits; it does not authorize employment, study, or paid activities. The arrangement is effectively mutual, mirroring the visa-free access Brunei ordinary passport holders have enjoyed to China (up to 15 days) since 26 July 2023. Travelers should carry a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond entry, proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds. For stays beyond 14 days, a visa on arrival or a visa obtained in advance from a Brunei mission is required, and visa-free entry generally cannot be extended on the ground. Entry is at the discretion of Brunei immigration officers, and travelers should confirm requirements before departure as policies can change.
