No visa needed. Chinese ordinary passport holders can visit Bosnia and Herzegovina visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period under the China-BiH mutual visa-waiver agreement in force since 29 May 2018. Holders of an ordinary passport of the People's Republic of China do not need a visa for tourism or short visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Under the bilateral visa-exemption agreement between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which entered into force on 29 May 2018, Chinese ordinary passport holders may enter, exit, transit and stay visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. The waiver is reciprocal, so BiH ordinary passport holders enjoy the same treatment in China. Entry is for tourism, family visits, business meetings and transit only; it does not authorise paid work, study or long-term residence, which require the appropriate visa or permit obtained in advance. Travellers should hold a passport valid for at least the duration of stay (commonly six months recommended) and should be ready to show proof of sufficient funds, accommodation and onward or return travel at the border. Note that BiH is not a Schengen state, so this stay is counted separately from any Schengen 90/180 allowance.
