Do Canada passport holders need a visa to visit TL?

Canadian ordinary passport holders are NOT visa-exempt for Timor-Leste. You can get a tourist visa on arrival at Dili airport or Dili sea port: USD 30, single entry, 30-day stay. Pay in US dollars cash (no exchange at the airport). Land border entry requires an advance Visa Application Authorization. Canada is not on Timor-Leste's visa-exemption list, so Canadian tourists do not enter visa-free. Travelers arriving by air at Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport (Dili) or by sea at the Port of Dili can obtain a tourist visa on arrival for USD 30, valid for a single entry and a 30-day stay, extendable once for a further 30 days (USD 40) through the Immigration Service in Dili. The fee must be paid in US dollars cash, as there are no currency-exchange or reliable ATM facilities at the point of entry. On arrival you must present a passport valid for at least 6 months with a blank page, a completed arrival card, proof of onward/return travel, sufficient funds, and accommodation details. Important: visa on arrival is only available at air and sea entry points. Anyone entering overland (for example from Indonesian West Timor) must apply in advance for a Visa Application Authorization, online or at a Timor-Leste embassy/consulate, before traveling. Timor-Leste is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
