🇨🇦加拿大(Canada)🇬🇷希腊(Greece)CA-GR 加拿大(Canada) 前往 希腊(Greece) 签证要求
Canadian passport holders do not need a visa for short tourist stays in Greece. As an EU/Schengen member, Greece allows Canadians to enter visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. As of 31 May 2026, ETIAS is not yet operational (launch expected in the last quarter of 2026), so no travel authorization is required right now. Greece is part of the Schengen Area, and Canada is on the EU's visa-exempt list for short stays. An ordinary Canadian passport holder can travel to Greece for tourism without a visa, staying up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period (cumulative across all Schengen countries). Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen zone and ideally be issued within the previous 10 years. At the border you may be asked to show a return/onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and sufficient funds. Two new EU systems affect this route: the Entry/Exit System (EES), a biometric border-registration system that began rolling out on 12 October 2025 with full implementation around April 2026 (no fee, registered at the border); and ETIAS, an online travel authorization (EUR 20, valid 3 years) that is expected to become operational in the last quarter of 2026. ETIAS is not required yet as of 31 May 2026, but Canadians should monitor official EU channels, as it will become mandatory after its launch and transitional period. For stays exceeding 90 days or for work/study, a national visa from a Greek consulate is required.
