Do Canada passport holders need a visa to visit BS?

Canadian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit the Bahamas for tourism. You can enter visa-free and stay for an immigration-officer-determined period of up to 8 months, provided you hold a valid passport, a return/onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. A Canadian citizen holding a valid ordinary passport is exempt from the Bahamian visa requirement for tourist and short visits. The Bahamas Department of Immigration lists Canada among visa-exempt nationalities, and the Bahamas High Commission in Ottawa confirms that holders of a valid Canadian passport do not require a visa. On arrival you receive a stay granted at the discretion of the immigration officer, commonly up to a maximum of 8 months for tourism. You must present a passport (valid for at least 3 months beyond your departure date if travelling directly from Canada, or at least 6 months if you transit the United States, due to U.S. transit rules), a confirmed return or onward ticket, an address of stay, and evidence of sufficient funds. All arriving travelers complete and sign an immigration arrival card; you are not permitted to take up any paid work. The Bahamas is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. There is no eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival fee for eligible Canadian tourists.
