No visa needed. Brazilian ordinary passport holders can enter Venezuela visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days (extendable once). Brazil and Venezuela are both Mercosur members, and Venezuela grants visa-free tourist entry to Brazilian ordinary passport holders for up to 90 days, extendable once for a similar period at a SAIME immigration office. A critical health requirement applies: travelers coming from Brazil must present a valid International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate (taken at least 10 days before travel). Note that overland/sea entries can be subject to stricter checks, and non-tourism purposes (work, study, journalism, volunteering) require an advance visa. Travelers should also be aware that multiple governments maintain strong travel advisories for Venezuela due to crime, shortages, and political instability.
