🇧🇷巴西(Brazil)🇹🇩乍得(Chad)BR-TD 巴西(Brazil) 前往 乍得(Chad) 签证要求
Yes, a visa is required. Brazilian ordinary passport holders are not visa-exempt for Chad and cannot get a visa on arrival, but since December 2024 they can apply online for a Chad eVisa before travel through the official government portal (e-visa.td). Chad does not grant visa-free entry to Brazilian citizens. Brazil is absent from Chad's short visa-exemption list (which is dominated by ECOWAS/West African states plus a few Asian and island nations) and from its limited visa-on-arrival arrangements. On 11 December 2024 Chad launched a nationwide electronic visa system, accessible at the official portal e-visa.td, which is the standard channel for tourist travel for most non-exempt nationalities including Brazilians. A Brazilian traveler should apply for the tourist eVisa online, pay the fee (commonly cited around USD 100-107 / EUR 100 depending on visa duration and source), upload a passport bio-page, photo, return/onward ticket and proof of accommodation, and wait for approval (generally up to about 10 business days) before departure. The single-entry short-stay eVisa typically allows a stay of up to 30 days; longer or multiple-entry validity may require an embassy/consulate application. The passport must be valid at least six months on arrival. Note Chad's mandatory in-country police registration within 72 hours of arrival, and that yellow fever vaccination is required. Travelers should apply only through the official e-visa.td portal and avoid third-party sites that add markups. Because the eVisa system is relatively new and has reported intermittent technical issues, applying well in advance and confirming current rules with the Chadian embassy is advised.
