Do Brazil passport holders need a visa to visit SV?

No visa needed. Brazilian ordinary passport holders enter El Salvador visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. You only buy a USD 12 tourist card on arrival. Brazil ordinary passport holders do not need a visa to visit El Salvador for tourism. El Salvador grants visa-free entry to Brazilians and issues a tourist card on arrival (USD 12, payable in cash) at the airport, land borders, or seaports. The standard permitted stay is up to 90 days. El Salvador is part of the Central America-4 (CA-4) free-movement zone together with Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, so the 90-day allowance is shared across all four countries on a single entry stamp; leaving and re-entering the CA-4 region does not reset the counter. Extensions of up to a further 90 days can be requested from Salvadoran immigration. Passports should be valid for the duration of the stay (six months' validity is the safe standard most carriers and officers expect) with at least one blank page. Travelers may be asked to show proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. There is no eVisa, ETA, or pre-arrival approval required. El Salvador is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen/ETIAS rules do not apply.
