Brazilian ordinary passport holders can enter Oman visa-free for up to 14 days for tourism. Brazil is on Oman's "First Group" visa-waiver list, so no advance visa or eVisa is needed for a short stay, provided you carry a return ticket, confirmed hotel booking, valid travel/health insurance, proof of funds, and a passport valid for at least 6 months. As of May 2026, Oman grants visa-free entry for up to 14 days to nationals of more than 100 countries, including Brazil, which the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists in the "First Group." First Group nationals qualify on standard conditions (they do not need a pre-existing US/UK/Schengen/Canada/Australia/Japan visa, unlike Second Group nationals). The 14-day stay cannot be extended or converted to a residence permit. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months, a confirmed onward/return ticket, a confirmed hotel reservation, valid health/travel insurance, and sufficient funds. Border officials may request to see any of these. If a Brazilian traveler needs to stay longer than 14 days, Oman's official Royal Oman Police eVisa portal (evisa.rop.gov.om) offers paid tourist eVisas: a 10-day single-entry visa (5 OMR), a 30-day single-entry visa (20 OMR), and a 1-year multiple-entry visa allowing 30 days per visit (50 OMR). Oman is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. For the typical short tourist trip, no visa and no fee are required.
