Do Brazil passport holders need a visa to visit KH?
Brazilian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Cambodia. The simplest route is the official Cambodia tourist eVisa (Type T), applied online before travel for about USD 36 total, granting a single entry and a 30-day stay. Brazil is not on Cambodia's visa-exempt list for ordinary passports, so a visa is required for tourism. Brazilians have two practical options: the official online eVisa (Type T) via evisa.gov.kh, or a visa on arrival at the main international airports and several land borders. The eVisa is recommended because it is obtained before departure, avoids airport queues, and is accepted at the three international airports (Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville) and designated land crossings. The eVisa costs USD 30 plus a USD 6 processing fee (USD 36 total), is single entry, allows a 30-day stay, and is valid for use within 90 days of issue. Visa on arrival costs USD 30 (tourist) and is paid in cash. Regardless of visa type, since January 2025 all air arrivals must also submit the free Cambodia e-Arrival Card online within 7 days before arrival. Passports must be valid at least 6 months with one blank page, and travelers should hold a return or onward ticket. Cambodia is in Southeast Asia and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
