Do Brazil passport holders need a visa to visit KG?

Brazilian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist trips to Kyrgyzstan. As of a rule change effective 31 December 2025 (Cabinet Resolution No. 855), the visa-free allowance is up to 30 days within any 60-day period. Brazil is one of the 55 countries whose ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to the Kyrgyz Republic. Until the end of 2025 the allowance was 60 days, but Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 855 (announced by the Kyrgyz MFA on 31 December 2025 and effective from that date) reduced it to a maximum of 30 days within any rolling 60-day period for these 55 nations. No e-visa, visa-on-arrival, or pre-approval is required for stays within this limit; travelers simply present a valid passport at the border. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months and have blank pages; proof of onward travel and travel/medical insurance are commonly requested. Stays beyond 30 days require an e-visa, residence permit, or other lawful status. Kyrgyzstan is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
