Do Brazil passport holders need a visa to visit CM?
Brazilian ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Cameroon, but it can be obtained online as an eVisa before travel through the official government portal evisacam.cm. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel for tourism. As of 31 May 2026, Brazil (BR) ordinary passport holders require a visa to visit Cameroon (CM) for tourism. Cameroon is not visa-free for Brazilians and does not operate a reliable visa-on-arrival scheme for general tourists, so the correct and recommended route is the electronic visa (eVisa) applied for in advance on the official portal, www.evisacam.cm. Applicants create an account, complete the online form, upload a passport bio-page, photo and supporting documents, and pay the fee online. The tourist short-stay eVisa is issued for stays of up to 180 days, with single or multiple entries depending on the option selected. Standard processing is within 72 hours of payment, with a 24-hour express option. A passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date and a valid International Certificate of Vaccination showing yellow fever immunisation are mandatory; travellers without a yellow fever certificate can be denied boarding or entry. The eVisa is delivered by email and finalised as a visa sticker affixed in the passport on arrival or at a diplomatic mission. Cameroon is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
