🇦🇺澳大利亚(Australia)🇺🇦乌克兰(Ukraine)AU-UA 澳大利亚(Australia) 前往 乌克兰(Ukraine) 签证要求
Australian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Ukraine. They may stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period under a visa waiver in force since 1 August 2020. However, Ukraine is under martial law with closed airspace, and the Australian government's Smartraveller advisory is "Do Not Travel" - so while no visa is legally required, travel is strongly discouraged. Since 1 August 2020, Ukraine has granted visa-free entry to ordinary passport holders of Australia (and New Zealand) for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism, business and transit. This was established by Presidential Decree and confirmed by the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia and Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. No e-visa, ETA or visa-on-arrival is needed; travellers simply present a valid passport at the border. The passport should be valid for the duration of stay (a buffer of several months is recommended) with at least two blank pages. The visa waiver applies only to citizens, not to permanent residents of Australia who hold other nationalities. Crucially, this is wartime context: Russia's full-scale invasion means martial law is in effect nationwide, Ukrainian airspace is closed to commercial flights, and the Australian government's Smartraveller advisory for the whole of Ukraine is the highest level, "Do Not Travel." Entry must be made overland (typically via Poland or other EU neighbours). Travellers who proceed do so against official advice, may be unable to obtain consular help, and may struggle to get travel insurance. For stays beyond 90 days, a long-term visa or temporary residence permit is required.
