🇦🇺澳大利亚(Australia)🇵🇰巴基斯坦(Pakistan)AU-PK 澳大利亚(Australia) 前往 巴基斯坦(Pakistan) 签证要求
Australian passport holders need a visa for Pakistan and must obtain it online before travel. As of 1 January 2026, Pakistan suspended its free "Visa Prior to Arrival" (VPA) program, so Australians can no longer get a free quick approval or a visa on arrival. You must now apply for a paid standard e-Visa at the official portal visa.nadra.gov.pk, typically a single-entry tourist visa valid for 3 months, costing around USD 60, with 7-10 business days (sometimes longer) processing. Pakistan requires Australian ordinary passport holders to hold a visa for tourism. The country runs a fully online visa system (visa.nadra.gov.pk) operated by NADRA. From August 2024 until 31 December 2025, citizens of 126 countries including Australia could use a free "Visa Prior to Arrival" (VPA) channel granting a multiple-entry visa up to 90 days with approval often within 24-48 hours. That free fast-track was suspended on 1 January 2026 with no reinstatement date announced. Australians must now lodge a standard paid e-Visa application in advance, supplying more documentation (accommodation proof, itinerary, bank statements, ICAO-compliant photo) and a non-refundable fee. The standard tourist e-Visa is typically single-entry, valid for 3 months, with the fee for Australian nationals reported at around USD 60. Official processing is 7-10 working days, though some applicants report up to ~20 business days, so applying 4-6 weeks ahead is recommended. There is no airport visa-on-arrival fallback for Australian tourists, so the e-Visa must be approved before departure. Pakistan is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
