🇦🇹奥地利(Austria)🇯🇴约旦(Jordan)AT-JO 奥地利(Austria) 前往 约旦(Jordan) 签证要求
Austrian (ordinary passport) travellers need a visa for Jordan, but it is easy to obtain. A single-entry tourist visa-on-arrival (40 JOD) is issued at Queen Alia International Airport and most land/sea borders, valid for a one-month stay. Alternatively apply online for an eVisa, or buy a Jordan Pass before travel to waive the visa fee if you stay 3+ nights. Jordan is not visa-free for Austrian ordinary passport holders, but a visa is readily available on arrival or online. The standard single-entry tourist visa costs 40 JOD and permits a stay of up to one month. It can be obtained on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport (Amman), Aqaba (King Hussein International Airport), and most land/sea crossings such as the Sheikh Hussein Bridge (Jordan River) and Wadi Araba (Aqaba) borders. The notable exception is the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge from the West Bank, where visa-on-arrival is NOT issued for most nationalities, so a pre-arranged eVisa or visa is required there. For most travellers the smartest option is the official Jordan Pass, purchased online before departure: it waives the 40 JOD entry visa fee (provided you stay at least three consecutive nights) and bundles prepaid entry to Petra and 40+ attractions. The eVisa (via the official government gateway) is an alternative for those who want their visa confirmed before flying. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond arrival. Jordan is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route.
