🇦🇹奥地利(Austria)🇮🇪爱尔兰(Ireland)AT-IE 奥地利(Austria) 前往 爱尔兰(Ireland) 签证要求
No visa. As an EU/EEA citizen, an Austrian ordinary passport holder enjoys full freedom of movement and can enter Ireland visa-free for tourism with no time limit on a short stay. Ireland is not in the Schengen Area and does not apply ETIAS/EES, so no travel authorization is needed. Austria is a member of the European Union and the EEA, and Ireland is an EU member state. Under EU freedom-of-movement rules, Austrian (and all EEA and Swiss) nationals do not need a visa to enter Ireland for any purpose, including tourism. They are not issued an immigration stamp or Irish Residence Permit on arrival and are not subject to the 90/180-day Schengen short-stay limit, because Ireland is outside the Schengen Area and maintains the Common Travel Area with the UK. Ireland has opted out of both the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) and ETIAS, so no electronic travel authorization is required of any traveler entering Ireland. Austrian citizens may travel on a valid passport or national ID card; a passport valid for the duration of stay is recommended. Those wishing to remain longer than three months simply need to be exercising EU Treaty rights (work, study, self-sufficiency) and do not register for a residence permit as non-EEA nationals must. This is a stable, long-standing arrangement with no upcoming changes affecting EU citizens.
