No visa. As an EU/EEA citizen, an Austrian ordinary passport holder enjoys full freedom of movement and can enter Ireland visa-free for tourism with no time limit on a short stay. Ireland is not in the Schengen Area and does not apply ETIAS/EES, so no travel authorization is needed. Austria is a member of the European Union and the EEA, and Ireland is an EU member state.
