🇦🇹奥地利(Austria)🇩🇪德国(Germany)AT-DE 奥地利(Austria) 前往 德国(Germany) 签证要求
No visa is required. As an Austrian (EU) citizen, you have full freedom of movement and can enter, live, and work in Germany without any visa, registration limit, or ETIAS authorisation. Austria and Germany are both European Union member states and part of the Schengen Area. Under EU freedom of movement (Directive 2004/38/EC), Austrian citizens have an unrestricted right to enter and stay in Germany. There is no visa requirement, no 90/180-day cap, and no entry fee. You simply need a valid Austrian passport or national identity card to prove your right of free movement. The Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule and the upcoming ETIAS travel authorisation apply only to non-EU (third-country) nationals, not to EU citizens such as Austrians. ETIAS is expected to become operational in late 2026 and mandatory around 2027, but EU citizens are permanently exempt. Border checks between Austria and Germany are normally abolished, though Germany may conduct temporary internal Schengen border controls; carry valid ID at all times. For stays longer than three months, EU citizens enjoy a right of residence and may need to register with the local residents' registration office (Anmeldung) but never a visa.
