🇦🇹奥地利(Austria)🇨🇱智利(Chile)AT-CL 奥地利(Austria) 前往 智利(Chile) 签证要求
No visa is required. Austrian ordinary passport holders can enter Chile visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days, receiving a Tourist Card (Tarjeta de Turismo) on arrival at no cost. Austria is a European Union member state, and all EU nationals enjoy visa-free entry to Chile for short tourist stays. Holders of an ordinary Austrian passport may visit Chile for tourism, business, or transit for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa in advance. On arrival, the Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) issue a free Tourist Card (Tarjeta de Turismo / Permanencia Transitoria permit), which must be kept until departure. There is NO reciprocity fee for Austrian citizens (the former reciprocity fee that once applied to some nationalities such as the US, Canada, and Australia does not apply to Austria, and was suspended for those countries years ago). The 90-day stay can be extended once for a further 90 days through Chile's Servicio Nacional de Migraciones (SERMIG) for a fee, or by exiting and re-entering. Travelers should hold a passport valid for the duration of stay, evidence of onward/return travel, proof of sufficient funds (around USD 46 per day), and accommodation details, which border officials may request. Note that Easter Island (Rapa Nui) has separate, stricter entry rules including a mandatory advance registration form (FUI) and a maximum 30-day stay. Chile is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route.
