🇦🇹奥地利(Austria)🇨🇭瑞士(Switzerland)AT-CH 奥地利(Austria) 前往 瑞士(Switzerland) 签证要求
No visa needed. As an EU citizen, an Austrian ordinary passport holder can travel to Switzerland visa-free under the EU–Switzerland Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons. No ETIAS is required for EU citizens. Austria is a European Union member state and Switzerland, while not an EU member, is part of the Schengen Area and has the Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons (AFMP) with the EU/EFTA. As a result, Austrian citizens enjoy full freedom of movement and need no visa to enter Switzerland for tourism or any short visit. Entry requires only a valid passport or a valid EU/EFTA national identity card. Although Switzerland is in Schengen, the Schengen 90/180-day short-stay limit does not restrict EU citizens because freedom of movement allows stays beyond 90 days for tourism, with only a residence-permit registration required if you remain longer than three months or take up work. The upcoming ETIAS travel authorisation (expected to apply in late 2026) and the Entry/Exit System (EES) target visa-exempt non-EU nationals; EU citizens, including Austrians, are exempt from ETIAS. There are no fees and no application process for an Austrian tourist visit to Switzerland.
