Austrian (ordinary passport) citizens do NOT need a visa for tourism in Bolivia. Austria is in Bolivia's Group 1 (visa-exempt). You get a tourist stamp on arrival, but you MUST complete the free SIGEMIG online entry registration before you fly. Austria is classified in Group 1 of Bolivia's visa policy, meaning ordinary Austrian passport holders enter Bolivia visa-free for tourism. On arrival, immigration typically grants a 30-day tourist entry, which can be extended free of charge in two further 30-day blocks at a Bolivian migration (DIGEMIG) office, up to a maximum of 90 days per calendar year.
