The US, Australian, Irish and most Western governments maintain "do not travel" advisories. Given conflicting and limited information on a no-visa channel and the security situation, the conservative and correct verdict is visa-required. Travelers should verify the latest rules directly with a Sudanese diplomatic mission before any travel and reconsider non-essential travel entirely.
