🇦🇷阿根廷(Argentina)🇷🇺俄罗斯(Russian Federation)AR-RU 阿根廷(Argentina) 前往 俄罗斯(Russian Federation) 签证要求
Argentine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist trips to Russia (up to 90 days within any 180-day period) under a long-standing bilateral visa-waiver agreement. However, from June 30, 2025, Russia requires visa-free travelers to obtain a free electronic travel authorization (a QR code) via the official "ruID" app, submitted at least 72 hours before arrival. Argentina and Russia maintain a bilateral visa-waiver agreement that lets Argentine ordinary-passport tourists enter Russia without a consular visa for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Russia is NOT in the Schengen area, so the EU Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply; Russia operates its own separate immigration system. As of June 30, 2025, Russia launched a one-year pilot (running to June 30, 2026) requiring all visa-free foreign visitors to obtain an electronic travel authorization through the official "ruID" mobile app before travel. Applicants submit a pre-entry declaration with a facial photo, a photo of the passport, a voice sample, and trip details, then receive a QR code to present at the border. The authorization must be filed at least 72 hours before arrival (a 4-hour emergency window exists for medical or bereavement cases). The ruID authorization is issued free of charge. During the pilot, Russian tour-operator guidance indicates the QR code is not yet strictly enforced at all crossings, but travelers should treat it as mandatory to avoid problems. The passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the planned departure date, and stays beyond 7 working days must be registered (hotels normally handle this). Work, study, or stays over 90 days still require a proper visa.
