🇦🇷阿根廷(Argentina)🇯🇵日本(Japan)AR-JP 阿根廷(Argentina) 前往 日本(Japan) 签证要求
Argentine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism or short visits to Japan. They are granted visa-free "Temporary Visitor" status on arrival for up to 90 days. Argentina is on Japan's list of visa-exempt countries for short-term stays. Under the bilateral visa exemption arrangement administered by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), holders of an ordinary Argentine passport may enter Japan without obtaining a visa in advance and receive "Temporary Visitor" landing permission for up to 90 days for tourism, visiting friends/family, or business meetings. Argentina is one of a small group of countries whose exemption allows extension up to 6 months via the Regional Immigration Bureau (Ministry of Justice) for those wishing to stay longer than 90 days. No eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival is required for this short-stay channel as of mid-2026. Japan's eVISA system currently applies only to certain nationalities (such as a limited set of tourists who would otherwise need a visa) and does not apply to Argentine ordinary passport holders. Japan is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers must hold a passport valid for the duration of stay (six months' validity strongly recommended), and immigration officers may ask for proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. Working or paid activities are not permitted under visa-free Temporary Visitor status.
