🇦🇷阿根廷(Argentina)🇭🇺匈牙利(Hungary)AR-HU 阿根廷(Argentina) 前往 匈牙利(Hungary) 签证要求
Argentine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist stays in Hungary. As a Schengen Area member, Hungary allows visa-free entry for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. No visa or pre-travel authorization is required as of May 2026. (ETIAS will become a requirement once it launches, expected Q4 2026, but it is not yet in force.) Hungary is a member of the European Union and the Schengen Area. Argentina holds a visa-waiver arrangement with the Schengen states (Annex II of EU Regulation 2018/1806), so Argentine citizens holding an ordinary passport may enter Hungary and the wider Schengen Area visa-free for tourism, business, family visits, or transit. The permitted stay is a maximum of 90 days within any rolling 180-day period, counted cumulatively across ALL Schengen countries, not per country. At the border, travelers should be prepared to show a passport valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure date and issued within the previous 10 years, a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and sufficient funds. No visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is needed. The only upcoming change is ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System), an electronic travel authorization for visa-exempt nationals. ETIAS is expected to become operational in the last quarter of 2026, followed by a transitional grace period. As of 30 May 2026 ETIAS is NOT yet required, so Argentine travelers can currently board and enter with just their passport. Once ETIAS is live, Argentine visitors will need to obtain it online (a small fee of around EUR 20, free for under-18s and over-70s, valid up to three years) before traveling. Entry into the Schengen Area also remains subject to the Entry/Exit System (EES) biometric registration at the border.
