🇦🇷阿根廷(Argentina)🇪🇷厄立特里亚(Eritrea)AR-ER 阿根廷(Argentina) 前往 厄立特里亚(Eritrea) 签证要求
Yes, Argentine ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit Eritrea. There is no visa-free entry, no visa on arrival, and no eVisa. You must apply in advance at an Eritrean embassy or consulate before you travel. Argentina is not on Eritrea's short visa-exemption list, so holders of an Argentine ordinary passport must obtain a tourist visa before departure. Eritrea does not operate an electronic visa platform or a visa-on-arrival scheme; all visas are issued by Eritrean diplomatic missions abroad. Because Eritrea has no resident embassy in Argentina, applicants typically apply through the nearest accredited Eritrean mission (often the embassy in Washington, D.C., or another regional mission) by completing the application, paying the fee, and mailing in the original passport. The tourist visa is generally valid for three months from issue (you must enter within that window) and permits a stay of about one month, extendable through the Immigration Office in Asmara. Processing takes a minimum of about 15 business days, so apply well ahead. Argentine travelers should also note that Eritrea requires a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate for travelers arriving from or transiting infected areas, and independent tourist travel inside Eritrea additionally requires internal travel permits for destinations outside Asmara. Eritrea is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here.
