🇦🇷阿根廷(Argentina)🇧🇷巴西(Brazil)AR-BR 阿根廷(Argentina) 前往 巴西(Brazil) 签证要求
Argentine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Brazil for tourism. As fellow MERCOSUR members, they can enter visa-free for up to 90 days and may even use their national ID card (DNI) instead of a passport. Argentina and Brazil are both founding members of MERCOSUR, which grants reciprocal visa-free travel and freedom of movement. An Argentine ordinary passport holder traveling to Brazil for tourism or a short visit needs no visa and pays no entry fee. The visa-free stay is granted for up to 90 days, which can be extended once at a Brazilian Federal Police office for a further 90 days, capped at 180 days within any 12-month period. Because of the MERCOSUR residence/free-movement agreement, Argentines may also enter Brazil using a valid Argentine national identity card (DNI), which is widely accepted at land borders; however, airlines often require a passport for air travel, so carrying a valid passport is the safest option. No eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival is involved — entry is a simple presentation of travel documents at immigration, where an officer stamps the permitted stay. There were no adverse 2024-2026 policy changes affecting this route; the only relevant development is the gradual rollout of Brazil's new national ID (CIN), which streamlines but does not alter intra-MERCOSUR travel for Argentines.
