Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit PA?

UAE ordinary passport holders can visit Panama visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. No advance visa or eVisa is required. As of 30 May 2026, holders of an ordinary United Arab Emirates passport do not need a visa to enter Panama for tourism or short visits. The UAE is on Panama's visa-exemption list and is granted a stay of up to 90 days. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 3 to 6 months, carry a confirmed return or onward ticket, and be able to demonstrate proof of economic solvency (commonly cited as at least US$500, e.g. via cash, traveler's checks, credit card, or recent bank statement) plus details of accommodation. Most visa-exempt visitors enter using only their passport; Panama also offers an optional US$5 tourist card. Border officers make the final admission decision, so carrying supporting documents is strongly advised. There is no eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival process required for this nationality, and Panama is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
