Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit MA?
No visa needed. UAE (Emirati) ordinary passport holders may enter Morocco visa-free for tourism and short stays of up to 90 days, under Morocco's exemption for all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals. Holders of an ordinary United Arab Emirates passport are visa-exempt for Morocco. As GCC citizens, Emirati nationals can enter without any prior visa and stay up to 90 days for tourism, business meetings, or family visits. No e-visa, no visa-on-arrival, and no fee applies. Important distinction: this visa-free channel is for UAE passport holders only. UAE *residents* who hold a non-GCC passport (for example Indian, Pakistani, or Filipino nationals living in the UAE) do NOT qualify for visa-free entry and must apply for Morocco's online e-visa via the Accs Maroc / Ministry of Foreign Affairs platform. For a visa-free Emirati traveler, you simply need a passport valid for at least 6 months, a return/onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and sufficient funds. The 90-day limit is per stay; for longer stays you must apply for residence with local authorities. Morocco is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here.
